Serengeti National Park
Serengeti national park is one of the biggest national park in Africa covers 14,750 sq km of grassland plains, savanna, riverine forest and woodlands, with the word Serengeti means ‘’Endless plains’’ in Maasai language, the park lies in the northwest Tanzania, broadened to the knot by the Kenyan border where it is continuous with Maasai Mara National reserve. The park is famous in the annual Migration of over 1.5 Million bearded (brindled) wildebeest and 250,000 Zebras and for its Nile crocodile and honey badge.
Tarangire National Park.
Tarangire is the sixth largest National park In Tanzania located in Manyara Region, The name of the park originated from the Tarangire River that crosses at the park, The River is a primary source of water and during the dry season there is long distance Migration of wildebeest and zebras. where by thousands animals concentrates in Tarangire national park from the surrounding wet season dispersal and calving areas. The park covers area approximately 2850 square kilometer (1100 sq miles) and it is very famous of high destiny of elephants and African baobab trees.
Ngorongoro Conservations area
This is one of the world-class tourist destination, famous for wildlife co existing with semi nomadic maasai pastoralist practicing traditional livestock grazing, the area consist of the spectacular Ngorongoro crater(250 km2) which is the worlds largest unbroken Caldera in the eastern (great) Rift Valley, there is a large population of wild ungulates in the crater including the only visible populations of Black Rhinoceros in their natural environment, Ngorongoro crater is a home to a population of about 25,000 large animals, mostly ungulates, it also the home to about 500 species of birds. The crater covers the area of 304 sq km2 and its diameter is 19.5 km, while its depth is 630m with the floor dominated by open grass.
Lake Manyara National Park
